Elenger has successfully entered the Polish LNG bunkering market
Elenger, the largest private energy company in the Baltic-Finnish region, is officially expanding its operations in Poland to include LNG bunkering for ships. The first successful bunkering took place on July 6 at the Gdańsk shipyard, where LNG was supplied to vessel NB101, a ship designed for transporting passengers and vehicles.The bunkering was carried out using tank trucks, enabling flexible and safe fuel delivery to vessels at the seaport.
“We are pleased with this historic step on the Polish market. This is the result of many years of experience of our specialists in LNG supplies and in the construction of regasification stations. Now we are successfully transferring these competences to the bunkering market” said Marius Kairys, Head of Elenger’s operations in Poland.
Elenger has previously performed LNG bunkering in the ports of Tallinn, Helsinki, and Hanko. The company has LNG trucks that can deliver environmentally friendly LNG for maritime transport, industry, and heating.
