LNG – clean and convenient fuel
Liquefaction of natural gas makes it is possible to supply natural gas to areas and properties that are not served by gas pipelines. LNG is transported by ship, rail or road in cryogenic tanks. At the destination, LNG is re-gasified. The obtained gas is even cleaner than conventional natural gas because prior to liquefaction process, water, CO2, H2S and hydrocarbons are removed.
We are the first and, as of today, the only company in the Baltic region that has developed reliable and flexible LNG delivery and is ready to provide our service to all companies in the region. We have an experience with various sources of supply, logistics and technological solutions for LNG. We are also offering customers our help in creating necessary infrastructure.
The structure of the LNG station
For receival and regasification of LNG, an LNG station is installed at customer’s property, including LNG container and steamers.
- Cryogenic tank trailer LNG is delivered to the station in special cryogenic tank trailers where the gas will be held under low pressure. Average trailer holds up to 18,5 tons of LNG which gives 25 600 m3 of gaseous natural gas upon re-gasification.
- Cryogenic containers These are used to store LNG. The design of the container allows storing the fuel in low temperatures up to -162 degrees. Containers come in different sizes but the average is around 40-60 m3. One station can hold several containers.
- Regasification unit

- Boiler room, odorising Natural gas is odourless. Adding odour to the gas will help detect potential leakages more easily.
